Peter Fogg retires from the Branch Committee

After serving the Branch as a Committee Member for 28 years Peter Fogg has decided it’s time to hang up his bridle for the last time.  In typical Pony Club fashion Peter tell’s me it was actually his wife who was invited to join the Branch Committee but she deemed herself to be too busy!  As some of you will know Peter has two daughters both of whom were members and Hannah Roddis (nee Fogg) now works for the Jockey Club and was instrumental in establishing the Laker-Russell Bursary.

Peter assures me he will continue to assist Lionel Ripley in the famous double act that anyone who has competed cross-country at one of our events will be familiar with.  He has also been an invaluable clip board artist and has accompanied me on many a health and safety venue assessment.

Our thanks go to Peter for his wisdom, sound counsel and all that he has contributed to the Branch.  We wish him peacful evenings in place of minutes and turgid agendas!

We will need a ‘cabinet reshuffle’ and I will announce some changes to branch officer’s roles and responsibilities in due course.
