We entered three teams in the Novice competition and Hazel Perry entered the Intermediate as an individual. It turned out to be a day of mixed fortunes; Jo Mitchell and Earl were again on star form and won their arena and qualified for the Championships so hearty congratulations to them! I am hoping Jo can be persuaded to explain her winning formula for the benefit of others. Georgina Wagenmann and Puzzle came 6th in their arena but unfortunately every one else finished unplaced. Better luck next time and I hope you all enjoyed the day!

Four of our members who entered withdrew and I am not yet clear on the reasons; I trust they are not frivolous as the branch works very hard to support members who enter Area competitions and above.
