New Members (April)

Please extend a warm welcome to following new members to the branch:

Katie Willman, age 13, from Crawley.

Our next main public event will be the Spring Hunter Trials (generously sponsored by PABX Solutions), which will take place at Wivelsden Farm on Sunday 19th May.  This is the first event of the season to take place over our cross country course and we will, as always, be appealing for helpers (jump judges, stewards and tack checkers, sandwich makers and any number of folk to help set-up and prepare the course and clear up afterwards).  Even if you don’t compete coming to one of our events is a great way to meet new people and find out who everyone is!

I hope all our new members will quickly settle in and start to enjoin the fun, companionship and comradery offered.

Pony Club ‘A’ Test success for Hayley Moore

Please share our congratulations to Hayley Moore on passing her Pony Club ‘A’ Test last year.  Hayley was a member of the branch from 1991 to 2012 (yes, that is 21 years) and is, of course, no longer eligible for membership.

We hopefully look forward to seeing Hayley again in the future as an instructor.

Congratulations to Sophie Beldham

I am sure you will all wish to join me in congratulating Sophie Beldham in passing the Lunging Test on 18th February.

For those new to the Pony Club, the efficiency tests rise exponentially in standard so anyone achieving a pass at B test level or above has done something significant to feel really proud of.
